Great Grandma Visits
ok, I realize that these pictures are totally
jacked but I'm still trying to figure
this thing out, so when I do I will edit them :)
Great Grandma Jones is here for the weekend so we got together at my mom's (Grandma Jones) to have a little bar b que and go swimming. The food was fantastic!!!! and the kids had a great time swimming and playing until after 10 pm. John and Shane both got to go in the pool in their clothes to rescue Hayden and Logan.

Today Chandler informed me that he couldn't think of anything to draw. At five I guess he has run out of ideas. He spends most of his free time drawing. I made him a 3 ring binder with blank paper and pens that he can keep with him so he can draw whenever he feels like it. Today it was all and I mean ALL of the Transformers, autobots, to decepticons. He's quite good, and I enjoy watching him think about it.
At lunch today, Delaney kept yelling "MOM" "MOM" and when I would say "What?" she would wave and say "Hi Mom" I loved it!! it was the cutest thing so this went on for 30 minutes or so, and I was glad when it was nap time.

Summer days
This is the first day of posting. Other than the normal day care craziness I don't have much to report.
Mclayne is playing this week at John & Melinda's and got to go to Lagoon today.
Chandler has been next door playing with the kids, and having a great time. He and I are also working on being polite while I'M on the phone, by saying "excuse me mom" instead of just yelling over me. So we will see how that goes.
Delaney is being sassy as usual and learning to say lots of new words. She is also wearing the cutest outfit of course. Her aunt Stephanie gave her the cutest skirt for her b-day and I have to say she looks darling in it.
I have been working on bows all day for a store in Kaysville called Cuddle Haven, and I should really be considering going out to pull weeds, but I don't have it in me. We have that nasty bermuda grass or whatever with the most giant roots in the world and I spent like 15 hours cleaning out the 3 flower beds we have and now you can't even tell I touched them, and it toally depresses me to look at them.
So if you happen to see my weedy flower beds, don't judge.
