Even at midnight she's cute

I have been staying up pretty late the past few weeks and Delaney thinks because I am up that she should be to so we are having a really hard time getting her to stay in her bed.
Being the desperate mother that I am, a couple of weeks ago I let her watch a little 10 minute My Little Pony movie on the portable DVD player in her room if she would just stay there. Well that was idiotic because now it has turned into the Little Mermaid every night this week. So she stays up late, sleeps in, takes a nap around five!! Wakes up at 7 or 8 at night and then stays up till midnight again hanging with me or watchin The Mermaid.
So same deal last night she and Chandler watched it in her room until after 10 pm and then he went off to bed and we had to keep putting her back in her room. We were being pretty consistent and she finally turned the movie on again....whatever.... so about midnight I hear her singing, so I muted the tv and you can hear her singina ahaha ahahah ahahah ahahah, you know the part when Ariel is giving up her voice, to the witch? It was so cute Chris and I just laughed quietly and listened to her.
Even though I don't appreciate the late nights with her still up I wouldn't have missed that for anything.

Flowerzinherhair.com

It has been forever since I have posted and one of these days I will need to blog about the holidays, just for my own journaling. But since the holidays life has been crazy!!!

I have been making bows for babies and little girls for almost 3 years and I love it. In December I tried to create my own website and found out that it is a lot of hard work and I really had no idea what I was doing, but I persisted, and persisted... until December 29th. My cousin Katie forwarded me an e-mail from a lady that she had bought bows from in the past and was selling her on-line bow business/website. Knowing how much work a website is and establishing a business is I had to check it out. So I contacted her and we chatted for a day or two through e-mail while I asked a million questions and she graciously answered all of them. On New Years Eve we went and met with her and made an offer which she also graciously accepted, especially considering she had received a higher offer from another buyer, but felt good about us.

To make a long story longer. I launched my edition of the website On Friday January 16th, and have already gotten orders!

I really love making bows and the whole creation process and I am excited to get to share it in a bigger forrum.

But most of all I am so so grateful that this opportunity truly fell in our laps, and the tender mercies that have helped us get it. From applying for a loan (that we were denied at first) :) and to Jenni accepting our offer and being one of the most amazing, kind and talented women I have ever met.

Also a special thank you to Dave for helping us with our electricity, my brother John for helping Chris hang dry wall, my dad for loaning us all his stuff, Chad (my next door neighbor) and his dad David for helping Chris mud and tape super speedy and loaning a bunch of their stuff.

Must most of all to my amazing, wonderful, loving supportive husband who has been working his tail off trying to get the shed finished to store all of this amazing "stuff" in.

In answer to the question I get the most which is "Why did she sell?" It's because she is going into photography and found her heart taking her there more than making bows. Check out her website she is really talented.

Ok that was the longest post of all time. If by chance you made it to the bottom. I would really appreciate it if any of you feel compelled to add the website to your blog list and share it with your families and friends it would mean a lot to me. Plus there's a coupon on the home page for $5 off your order of $25.00 or more and I will deliver locally for free!!

Thank you for all of your support!!

I've Been Tagged....Again

I was tagged by Heidi, apparently quite a while ago but I missed it...

I am: Crazy, funny ( just ask me) A mom, a wife, a sister, a daughter, a grand-daughter, an aunt, a niece, a friend,

I think: That I should be wrapping presents and vacuuming my floor instead of blogging.

I know: That I am Crazy and I own it.
I want: To get finished with Christmas soon.

I have: Taken on too many "projects" and sometimes I feel like I am in way over my head.
I dislike: Dumb people and being stressed out, about not being able to pick my kids up today.

I miss: My Grandma Stimpson, deeply, and every day.
I fear: Losing one of my kids, or them becoming really sick, and me getting a brain tumor. (love you babe)

I feel: annoyed by day care kids this minute.
I hear: Heidi's blog music and Delaney telling the baby "Don't touch my chair"
I smell: My lotion from bath and body works.
I crave: Chocolate chip cookies and orange chicken, not necessarily together.

I cry: As little as possible, and when the choir sings like angels, like they did yesterday :)

I search: For Inner peace.

I wonder: If I can actually make enough money making bows to quit daycare.

I regret: Lots of stuff from my younger years, and that I'm a crazy mom.
I wish: I were a more calm less crazy mom.
I love: My family and friends. I ADORE my husband and kids.
I care: That my kids are happy, and that my family (brothers sisters, mom and dad are all happy)
I always: Tell my kids and husband how much I love them.
I worry: Constantly, about money, kids responsibilites.
I am not: skinny but I'm trying to be thinner.
I remember: EVERYTHING!! Ask Chris....
I believe: That families can be together forever.
I sing: Everywhere that I know the song.
I don’t: Take time to "smell the roses". I need to remember to slow down.
I argue: About things I feel strongly about. But not with my family, I don't like the contention.
I write: About things on my blog that I want to remember, it is my journal.
I win: As much as possible.
I lose: My grip when I am totally overwhelmed and crazy.
I listen: To everything and everyone, and sometimes it hurts my brain.
I don’t understand: Why some people are allowed to drive, or even breath for that matter :)
I can usually be found:At home making bows, or on the computer.
I need: To chill
I forget: Stuff if I don't write it down.
I am happy: Right now, this very minute I love my family, and my friends and I can't wait for the fights on Saturday!!!

I tag....Katie, Melissa and Melanie. My strong, wonderful, smart and beautiful cousins.

Ice Crack

This past Saturday night Chris and I took the boys to the Jazz game. Chris and I rode the Frontrunner with Dave and Staci and 4 of their kids and Chris's dad met us at the Frontrunner station downtown. (the boys spent the night down there) We rode Trax over to the Gateway and had dinner and then walked over to the game.
Our seats were in the 2nd and 3rd to last rows. I had to pop my ears every time we went down due the the altitude change.
Chris went out and bought the boys a drink to share and when it was all gone, they took off the lid, to get those last few drops. Well Chandler had the cup and was just watching the game and tipping the cup back and forth and all of a sudden he lost his grip and the cup went flying forward, well he caught the cup, but to some theories of physics such as an object in motion will remain in motion, the ice kept going, right down the pants of the guy sitting in front of him, and right on down his crack. Sorry sir! But it was freaking hilarious!

I know it's shocking

It's shocking because I haven't really had much to say....well that isn't true. In the last month I've actually had a lot to say, but I'm very careful about posting my opinion on MY OWN blog because I don't want to offend any one since I obviously don't know every single persons opinion on every single thing.
On that note.....Can we skip Thanksgiving?....not that I'm ready for Christmas or Christmas decorations, or music. But I just really want to go shopping and I could do without the whole meal. I just want to go out to eat and then go shopping, a movie, whatever...but I could skip the whole thing. Sorry!

I have also not said one word politically this entire month so I have to get this out of my system........ TIMES ARE ALREADY CHANGING....TIMES HAVE BEEN CHANGING FOR A LONG TIME!!!! If I hear one more person (in church) talk about how times are changing because of politics and things in our world are scary my head is going to explode. No matter who was elected and whether you like it or not. It has been scary in our world for a long time, and things have been changing for a LONGER time. Anway, I don't know if that makes sense, but I really don't think the world as we know it is coming to an end because of 1 election.

Last week, was the super duper Pine Wood Derby for our little Cub Scouts. The boys (Mclayne and Corbin) had fun building their cars and I have to say that Chris and Dave did a fine job as well :)
