It's shocking because I haven't really had much to say....well that isn't true. In the last month I've actually had a lot to say, but I'm very careful about posting my opinion on MY OWN blog because I don't want to offend any one since I obviously don't know every single persons opinion on every single thing.
On that note.....Can we skip Thanksgiving?....not that I'm ready for Christmas or Christmas decorations, or music. But I just really want to go shopping and I could do without the whole meal. I just want to go out to eat and then go shopping, a movie, whatever...but I could skip the whole thing. Sorry!
I have also not said one word politically this entire month so I have to get this out of my system........ TIMES ARE ALREADY CHANGING....TIMES HAVE BEEN CHANGING FOR A LONG TIME!!!! If I hear one more person (in church) talk about how times are changing because of politics and things in our world are scary my head is going to explode. No matter who was elected and whether you like it or not. It has been scary in our world for a long time, and things have been changing for a LONGER time. Anway, I don't know if that makes sense, but I really don't think the world as we know it is coming to an end because of 1 election.

SCARY!!!!
Chandler (Stars wars clone or Storm Trooper)
Mclayne, (The man with no face)
Delaney of course the Princess of Quite A LOT!
These are our little Trick-or-Treaters. They had so much fun! We went to John and Melinda's ward for their trunk or treat and had dinner. Afterwards, Chris was going to take the boys around the neighborhood and Delaney, who didn't really care that much about the candy insisted on tagging along, so Chris put her in the stroller (slow walker) and she still made a haul!

Breakfast Burritos
So Chris has been stopping at Maverik every morning for a breakfast sandwich and to fill his mug, which costs $3.28 anyway, that is not really in our budget, and we had a whole bunch of hashbrowns in our freezer (another story) and I found this recipe and thought I would share.
Ingredients:
1 Tbsp. olive oil
6 slices canadian bacon, cut into small pieces (I used bacon cut up)
2 cups frozen hash brown potatoes, thawed and drained
8 eggs
1/2 cup salsa
16 (6") tortillas
1 cup shredded Pepper Jack Cheese (I used Weight Watchers mexican blend)
Preparation:
In large skillet, heat olive oil and brown bacon and has browns. In large mixing bowl, combine eggs and salsa; beat well until combined. Pour into skillet with bacon and potatoes and cook over medium heat, stirring occassionally, until eggs are set. Spoon egg mixture into flour tortillas, sprinkle with cheese, and roll us. Place roll-ups in freezer bags and freeze.
When ready to serve, place burrito in microwave, covered with a paper towel, and heat for about 1-2 minutes on high power for each burrito.

50 LBS!!!!!!!
So I have officially lost 50 lbs. It has taken about 7 months, but I feel great and I am really glad I have gotten that off. I have about 50 more to go, but hey the first 50 is a pretty good start. Thank you to everyone who has supported me, especially Chris, who loves me fat and less fat.

Nap? Why Nap?
I'm blogging these pictures for a couple of reasons. First, I am avoiding the bed time routine. Chris is currently reading to the two youngest and I am hiding in front of the computer. Why? Because I hate bedtime. Not because I want my children to stay up all night...NO... that is definately not it. It's because by this time I am so tired of whining and fighting and "trying" to be a "good mom" that I don't want to deal with it. So my theory is this. I get them up every morning and get them ready for the day. So... Chris can get them off to bed. I got them in their PJ's he just has to read the stories, and get them to actually go to bed.
The second reason is that Delaney is trying to get out of taking naps. For example on this day a couple of weeks ago she just kept fighting so I gave up. I let her stay up instead of napping and alas she fell asleep on the couch. However, as much as I NEED her to take an afternoon nap, she doesn't seem to want to go to bed at a decent time at night. Hence the reason I hear crying right this minute.

Football Cake
This is the "cupcake cake" that I decorated for Mclaynes end of season football party. Several of our wonderful moms made cupcakes and I decorated it. I have never decorated using cake tips so it's not exactly professional but I think it turned out pretty cute. There is a total of 91 cupcakes, and each player had a cupcake with their number on it.
